Job Description

  • Data Management: Oversee data downloads, record maintenance, and GIS project setup.
  • Technical Survey Management Support: Conduct thorough reviews of documentation and reports, manage survey data QC, coordinate contractors, and assist in report and presentation preparation.
  • Route Planning and Analysis: Aid in desktop feasibility studies for submarine cable paths, analyse data to assess seabed conditions, and review cable burial on existing assets.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in continuous learning about submarine cable engineering and assist with proposals and tendering.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in Hydrographic Survey, Geophysics, or a related Earth Sciences subject.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the marine survey industry.
  • Strong IT and GIS proficiency.
  • Effective communication skills for team and client interactions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Prior route engineering experience is preferable.
