Job Title: Head of Market Data

We are looking for a Head of Market Data to join Royal London Asset Management on a permanent basis in London.
As Head of Market Data, you will manage the Market Data team which is responsible for the vendor management, business liaison, administration and finance for market data across the organisation. Key partners and stakeholders include external Third-Party Data Vendors, Front Office, Risk, Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Distribution and various support functions.
The role reports into the RLAM Chief Data Officer, and works closely with the Heads of Investment Desks, the Head of Data Management, and the Change Function.
Management of the Market Data team.
Day to day management of Market Data vendors including contract negotiations, invoice and inventory management.
Subject matter expert contact for business users on market data matters.
Work with key stakeholders to on-board new market data licences and services.
Represent Market Data in Change initiatives, working alongside the data delivery programme.
Delivery of change implemented in line with the data strategy and underlying principles and policies.
Change activity understood and embedded into the BAU Market Data team’s activities.
Proven knowledge of Market Data Management practices and principles within an Asset Manager.
Confident in commercial and contractual negotiations.
Understands Enterprise data solutions from major providers like Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
