Chester, UK (travel required)

As a UT Inspection Technician at Vector Inspection, you will play a vital role in executing NDT pipeline inspections within the oil & gas and energy sectors using our state-of-the-art Phased Array ultrasonic (UT) intelligent pigging inspection equipment.

Perform inspections on pipelines and assets using Phased Array UT intelligent pigging inspection equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines for NDT.
Set up and calibrate the NDT inspection equipment, including UT intelligent pigging instruments.
Interpret and analyse NDT inspection data to identify defects, anomalies, or areas of concern in pipelines and work with our data analysis team.
Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements related to pipeline inspections.
Participate in training programs and continuous learning activities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Minimum 2-year degree or technical certificate in electronic, industrial, or mechanical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience with electrical circuit maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Oil and gas industry and NDT experience is a required.
Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to travel as needed for project assignments.
