They are looking for an Electrical Assembly technician to join their team and wire, build and test machinery for the food industry. You will be part of the electrical department and will report to their electrical manager.
Main duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Assembly Technician:
Ensure electrical build quality is of the highest possible standard.Electro/mechanical installation of control cubicle components and field components.Terminate and secure external cabling to the correct points in the control panel.Install PLC & HMI programs.Carry out earth continuity, insulation, and pre-delivery testing.Where necessary, perform remote support and on-site support to breakdown situations.Where necessary, perform on-site machine commissioning.Where necessary, conduct operator and technical training at clients sites.Perform on-call and service duties as per service rota.The jobholder should be aware that on occasion, working outside of normal hours will be required, both within the UK and overseas.Someone who has experience within an engineering organisation.Able to read and understand engineering drawings.Experience/knowledge requirements for an Electrical Assembly Technician:
Time served electrician, with experience of industrial control system wiring and fault finding.Experience of working with PLCs, servo drive systems and AC inverters.Experience within the food industry an advantage.Company Benefits of an Electrical Assembly Technician:
