Children's Occupational Therapist

We are looking to recruit to three new full-time posts for experienced practitioners in Occupational Therapy.
The Home First Occupational Therapy Team are expanding to meet the increased need to support hospital discharges and active recovery, reablement packages, and are looking for two experienced OTs.
The roles involve working closely with our partners in health and community services to develop strong connections to influence individual health and care outcomes.
Peripatetic:
The Peripatetic team is a continually developing, internal short-term resource offering flexible, responsive, skilled practitioners to support with pressures across all adult social care departments. The team is made up of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Assessment and Support Co-ordinators who are deployed into short term placements across all adult social care departments, providing a short-term solution to meeting service demands.
We encourage and support our staff to have regular new experiences in different work settings, supporting their professional development. In supporting individuals’ professional growth, we have a competent and versatile peripatetic resource that can be deployed anywhere across the service.

have a degree in social work/Occupational Therapy or equivalent
be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post
The amount payable will be £2000 (pro-rata for part time positions) after 24 months of employment.
A generous relocation package is payable, of which up to £8,000 (of HMRC eligible elements) are free of tax. We can offer you help to move whether you are looking to buy or rent, depending on your circumstances.
