Successful candidates will leverage their versatile expertise to help our clients successfully define and deliver tailored solutions, across a varied set of critical transformation objectives. ROLE DESCRIPTION (A SUBSET OF)
  1. Project scope definition
  2. Detailed current state analysis
    • Agreement terms, IT applications, data infrastructure, functional capabilities, business processes, organisational set-up and more
  3. Regulatory gap analysis
  4. Business requirement definition
  5. Target Operating Model definition
    • IT-Data-People-Process-Governance
  6. Vendor RFP creation and assessment
  7. Solution selection and design
  8. Data analysis and modelling
  9. Validation of IT functional design and build
  10. Business process re-engineering
  11. Test script creation and test governance
  12. Operational procedures creation
  13. Training of resources
  14. Project planning and tracking
  15. RAID identification and tracking (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
MUST-HAVE TRANSFORMATION EXPERIENCE
  1. 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst
  2. Experience as a Business Analyst working on major transformation programmes, including both regulatory and technology infrastructure programmes
  3. Experience as a Business Analyst within vendor assessment, selection and implementation
  4. Confident and strong communicator, with all levels and types of stakeholders
  5. Business-oriented, but able to work with technology, data and legal teams
  6. Strong Microsoft Office application skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
MUST-HAVE DOMAIN EXPERIENCE
  1. Strong end-to-end operations processes of multiple collateral products, including:
    • OTC bilateral
    • OTC cleared
    • Listed derivatives
    • Securities Lending
    • Repo
  2. Hands-on experience within previous UMR phases
  3. Experience of other collateral-impact regulations e.g. CSDR, SFTR, MIFID, Clearing, etc
  4. Collateral selection and optimisation techniques
  5. Collateral inventory management solutions
  6. Experience working with key collateral vendors, including Acadia, TriResolve and Major Custodians
  7. Previous experience of the TriParty & Third Party Custody models, including onboarding
  8. Strong knowledge of collateral legal contract terms and data i.e. CSA/CTA/CSD, ACA, ECS, GMRA, GMSLA, etc
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  1. Previous experience working as a consultant
  2. Previous Project Manager experience
  3. Strong knowledge of trading functions, including derivatives and securities finance
