Key System Functions:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with variation margin and initial margin requirements for uncleared OTC derivatives.
  • Central Clearing: Oversee the clearing of OTC derivatives through central counterparties (CCPs) to mitigate counterparty risk.
  • Trade Reporting: Manage the reporting of trades to trade repositories to enhance market transparency.
  • Collateral Management: Implement and maintain robust collateral management practices, including eligibility criteria and haircuts.
  • Basel III Compliance: Ensure adherence to Basel III capital charges related to collateralized exposures.
  • Governance and Operations: Develop and enforce governance frameworks and operational practices for effective collateral management.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent documentation skills including functional specifications and BRDs.
  • Strong understanding of collateral management regulations and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with OTC Derivatives /central clearing and trade repositories.
  • Knowledge of Basel III regulations.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and operational best practices.
