This is a hands-on role requiring technical experience in mechanical engineering and integrate system desig n. Responsibilit ies Mechanical design on existing and future unmanned platforms, focusing on system and payload integration into future vehicle geomet riesSolidWorks design including 3D modeling, assemblies, FEA analysis, and Design for Manufacturing optimisa tionConduct hands-on prototyping and builds from concept through functional tes tingCollaborate with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams for seamless component integra tionCoordinate payload integration for sensors, communication systems, and mission-specific equip mentParticipate in design reviews, technical presentations, and stakeholder meet ingsIdentify opportunities for design optimisation, cost reduction, and performance enhance mentStay current with emerging technologies and manufacturing processes relevant to unmanned sys tems Qualifica tions Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldExperience in Mechanical design, preferably in aerospace, defence, or automotive s ectorsExperience with SolidWorks, FEA analysis and 3D Mod ellingApplicants MUST eligible for UK Security Cle arance
