Job Description

Chronicle Heritage is seeking an Archaeology and Heritage Consultant for our International Heritage Program. The role will report to the International Built Heritage & Conservation Team Lead and assist with report preparation, providing technical reviews and assurances, contributing to the business development of the team, and general project management duties including proposal preparation and budget tracking. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience working with UNESCO value assessments and have a good understanding of the heritage impact assessment process. The candidate will be expected to manage and conduct a variety of heritage-related project types including Heritage Appraisals and Heritage Impact Assessments (HIAs), contributing to reporting deliverables, and providing technical oversight where required. This position will also offer support for job training, a positive and diverse work environment, and colleagues who are supportive, passionate, and collectively focused on work/life balance and producing high-quality cultural heritage deliverables for our clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in archaeology, cultural heritage management, anthropology, architectural history, or a closely related field
  • 5+ years of experience in heritage consultancy work, including experience in conducting and writing HIAs or archaeological desk-based assessments
  • Willing to travel internationally

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Detail oriented, resourceful, self-motivated, strong initiative
