Luminous Solutions Ltd is a Sheffield based Lighting Consultancy which has been providing high-quality lighting solutions and excellent customer service for nearly 10 years. Our team has over 70 years combined experience in the commercial sector with support with Commercial & Domestic Lighting, Lighting Controls and Emergency Lighting systems.

What we do:

  • Lighting Consultation Services – Site Surveys.
  • Lighting Design Services – AutoCad – 3D Rendering/Imagery.
  • Lighting Specification – Value Engineering.
  • Lighting Procurement – OEM Lighting Manufacturing.
  • Lighting Distributor – Lighting Supplies to local & UK commercial client base.
  • Lighting Control Systems - Emergency Lighting Systems
  • CPD - Training - Lux Level Reports - Case Studies

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience within the lighting sector and have a good level of understanding of the wholesale/electrical contractor market, lighting design, project and specification work.

Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for growing the business by developing new and existing relationships with customers.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with Electrical Wholesalers, Contractors, Designers & Consultants.
  • Maintain and build relationships with our existing client base.
  • Manage lighting projects from enquiry through to completion, utilising the full capacity of Luminous’ Design, Technical, Production and Support infrastructure.
  • Maintain and develop product knowledge to enable clear and effective communication to our customers
  • Working closely with support staff to ensure any customer issues and resolved in a timely manner
  • Attend company events and functions, such as trade days.

Areas – Yorkshire, Humberside, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

Our clients work across the UK but the preference is to focus on locally based contractors supporting them on all their lighting projects across the UK.

Salary & Package: Negotiable based on experience. Use of Pool vehicle or expenses for own vehicle.

Requirements:

  • A positive individual that is passionate about lighting
  • Proven track record in lighting sales
  • Ability to manage your own diary and meet targets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop long standing business relationships
  • An understanding of the market
  • Strong IT skills
  • Full clean driving license
