Responsibilities As Engineering Team Lead, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to plan & schedule engineering duties, ensuring equipment is kept in full working order. Work with the production team to ensure job requests are resolved quickly. Manage the shift engineering workload, prioritisation and direction of duties to ensure that pro-active maintenance is completed. Ensure all maintenance works meet & exceed site H&S requirements. Use of Permit to Work, correct PPS, Machinery Isolation using Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO). Must be able to work within the team rota and flexible towards hours, which might include weekends to meet business needs. Requirements Time Served Apprenticeship with relevant Engineering qualification. Proven experience managing, leading and supporting a team of maintenance engineers. Ability to support factory maintenance, working under pressure and responding to changing demands. Excellent people skills, with the ability to support & develop people and drive change. Strong IT skills, excellent organisational, communication, planning and problem-solving skills. Experience in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing site working with modern equipment.
