We are hiring a Lead Product Developer to shape the end to end, concept to launch development of hot and cold drinks products for our workplace vending machines, spanning teas and coffees, chocolates, soups and other specialist brews.
An established professional, you’ll provide coaching and support to the ingredients team, leading best practices within new product development and innovation.
You’ll ensure the performance and quality of product, taking into account not only the recipe and taste, but also the behaviour of the ingredients during service and delivery through the machine to the consumer.
Leading a portfolio of complex NPD and innovation projects
· Understanding customer and consumer insights and translating into safe, legal and repeatable specifications
· Ensure delivery of the R&D plan to agreed timings, budget and quality standards
· Forging strong and effective relationships with a network of technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internally and with suppliers.
Be degree educated, likely in a food sciences or food technology discipline
· Have strong working knowledge of food product development, NPD process, manufacturing and quality assurance principles
· You must be willing to travel in the UK and across Europe.
