Fitters Mate

Our client is looking to recruit a Fitter's Mate to work with our site-based installation engineers installing products across all their product ranges (HVAC / Air Conditioning Units).

This is on a temp to perm basis (permanent after 3 months probation).
Salary - £12.07 per hour + Overtime at time & a half + Extra pay for overnight stays
Working hours - 39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 8.00 - 16.30, Fridays 8.00 - 3.30, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Fitters Mate - Duties / Responsibilities:
• The role will involve some working away.
• Work with on-site installation teams, usually in pairs fitting air handling units and acoustic products.
• Provide assistance as required to the lead site engineer.
• Undertake general labouring duties.
• Working in the factory will be required when there is a shortage of site work.
• Any other reasonable request.
Qualifications/Experience required:
• Experience of labouring on site, preferably in the ventilation industry.
• Hold a full UK driving license.
• Hold a valid CSCS card (ESSENTIAL)
• Hold valid IPAF and PASMA certification (DESIRABLE, NOT ESSENTIAL)
