**What Position is Available**:

- Vehicle Assembly Technician
- Auto Electrician

**Auto Electrician**:
**Main duties & Responsibilities**
- Installing electrical equipment to a varied range of new emergency vehicles on a production line.
- Will be expected to work to very high and demanding standard, consistent with the type of vehicle being manufactured.
- Will be working on main production assembly lines

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Previous experience working in an auto electrical role and preferably qualified at NVQ level 3 standard (City and Guilds Level 2)
- Must be able to follow specific build instructions, take detailed notes and follow installation details.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and unsupervised after training
- Must have experience in crimping terminals of automotive electrical connectors such as TE Fastons, Mate N Lock, Super seals and insulated wire terminals.
- Must have good communication skills and be a team player with ability to work closely with colleagues.
- Must work to a high standard of quality
- Training will be provided by VCS in house and on the job

**Vehicle Assembly Technician**
**Main Responsibilities and Requirements**
- All areas of exterior and interior trim, standard and additional elements as part of the conversion - such as fitting vehicle flooring, seats, tracking, vents and window fitting.
- Lightweight construction and assembly of in vehicle storage facilities.
- Able to work with all types of trim material, mild steel, s/steel, aluminium, fiberglass, composite, plywood, ABS, general plastics, vinyl and carpet.
- Ability to use a variety of consumable materials, polyester filler, sealants, panel wipe, glues, aerosol paints and primers.
- Ability to use a good range of hand and power tools.
- Working in line with Company standards and H&S requirements.

**Key Skills, Abilities and Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a Vehicle Fitter/Bodybuilding role is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail.
- Works well under pressure and to deadlines.
- Experience working independently, and to be supportive within a wider team.
- Good communicator both verbally and written.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, right-first-time attitude.

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
