Estate Cleaner/Caretaker (must have full UK driving licence) Location: Stockwell/Brixton Salary: £23,000 per annum Hours: Full-time - 35 hours a week - Monday - Friday (some weekend work on rota) We are looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our team in Brixton/Stockwell. This role involves ensuring that residential blocks and communal areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe. You will also be responsible for driving a 3.5-tonne bulk waste lorry as part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of internal and external communal areas. Remove bulky waste and operate a 3.5t bulk waste lorry to the waste transfer station. Carry out basic minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor plumbing, and carpentry). Inspect and monitor communal works, including fire and safety checks. Assist residents with minor tasks such as gardening or small repairs. Ensure all areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence (essential) - must be able to drive a 3.5t bulk waste lorry - this is covered by a normal licence. Experience in a caretaking, cleaning, or facilities management role. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
