Purpose of the role: We are recruiting for a Document Controller / Administration Support to ensure all documents and processes adhere to our Health and Safety and Quality Standards. A successful candidate will be responsible for administering and auditing Quality and Health and Safety protocols, as well as reviewing documents to ensure a professional and consistent message is communicated to our customers.   • Continuous audit of the H&S and Quality Management procedures, ensuring departments are adhering to procedures.
  • Address non-conformances by working with departments to improve working practices and/or procedures.
  • Prepare for and assist with the annual audits for H&S and Quality Accreditations, and control associated documentation.
  • Own document templates and ensure they align with procedures.
  • Review and amend documents from all departments as required.
  • Manage the delivery of H&S training modules through our online management platform Atlas (Citation), working alongside the H&S manager.
  • Arrange relevant training for employees and conduct employee meetings as needed to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure equipment on all sites is installed safely and maintained to necessary standards.
  • Arrange and manage risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and opportunities to mitigate risk.
  • Assist with addressing any H&S queries or issues as they arise, acting as the central point of contact.
  • Assist with the management and implementation of ISO 9001.
  • Keep up-to-date with safe operational practices to ensure the company adheres to and adapts to changes in legislation.
  • Work with First Aiders and Fire Marshalls to ensure responsibilities are carried out as per agreed policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with our Production department to ensure the timely delivery of handover and completion information/documentation and O&M manuals.
  • Liaise with our Solution and Design departments to ensure amendments to project drawings are accurately recorded.
  • Review and ensure that manufacturing equipment and work areas meet all safety criteria, including lifting equipment, fire extinguishers, walkways, workshop areas, and office areas.
  • Assist with conducting reviews and completing associated documentation of any workplace accidents.
  • Assist with Office Administrative tasks as required.
  • Assist Marketing with the Administration of Events as required.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
  • Good knowledge of document control processes.
  • IOSH (Preferred but not required).
  • Health and Safety experience (ideally covering industrial environments) (Preferred but not required).
  • Ability to understand and interpret DWG’s.
  • Confident in leading meetings and liaising with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail
