Dermalogica UK/IE is seeking a strategic and experienced Associate Digital Director to lead our digital initiatives and drive growth in the digital landscape. As the Associate Digital Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage customers, and increase online sales.

The responsibilities of the Associate Digital Director…. Could this be you?

  • Digital Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with overall business objectives. This includes setting clear goals, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitoring metrics to track the success of digital initiatives.
  • E-commerce Management: Oversee the shopify e-commerce platforms in UK and IE to optimize the online shopping experience, drive conversion rates, and increase online sales. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between digital marketing efforts and e-commerce operations.
  • Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts across various channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and affiliate marketing. Develop innovative campaigns to enhance brand awareness, attract new customers, and foster engagement with existing customers.
  • Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that resonates with the target audience and supports brand messaging. Oversee the creation of high-quality and engaging content for digital platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Continuously improve the online customer experience by identifying pain points, implementing user experience enhancements, and optimizing website functionality. Utilize data and insights to personalize the customer journey and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analytics, Testing Reporting: Utilize data analytics tools to track performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for optimization. Lead a ‘compare relentlessly’ culture in the team to continually teat and learn. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key insights and progress against goals to senior management.
  • Growth and tech roadmap: Lead the tech roadmap to ensure Dermalogica are at the forefront and leading on ecommerce enhancements. Lead a culture of growth hacking.
  • CRM: Lead the CRM team to drive retention and loyalty and managed the email communications
  • Third Party Internet: Lead the third party internet team and drive growth and strategy of 10+ parter accounts including Look Fantastic, Cult Beauty, Beauty Bay etc
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the digital marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive team performance and professional development.

Do you have the below skills?

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in digital marketing, e-commerce, or related roles, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, strategies, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful digital strategies that drive business results.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, content management systems, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on analytics and ROI.
