Part- Time SEN Teaching Assistant

ABC Teachers have been approached by a client school who are urgently looking to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a Child in a Primary School in central Coventry starting as soon as possible. This would be on a part-timetime basis working mornings only. About the role You will be working 1:1 with a specific pupil, assisting in classrooms and providing interventions for a specific pupil while de-escalating stressful situations to help the teacher conduct lessons successfully. Requirements To be considered for the role of 1:2:1 SEN Teaching Assistant you will: Effective behaviour management skills Great communication skills to be able to cater to the specific child and communicate. A strong passion for learning and showing creativity and helping others. Patience, Resilience and Reliability Strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil. Be able to provide 2 solid references covering years’ experience. Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
