Regional Sales Manager

To cover their customers' needs holistically, they are divided into three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Networks. Our client's Product Division develops, produces, and distributes audio, video, IT, and communication solutions. With our live production tools for the media, sports, entertainment, and corporate industries, they deliver a wide range of high-quality and state-of-the-art products that are among the most innovative of their kind in the industry. Join their dynamic and customer driven Team as the new Regional Sales Manager - UK and be part of this exciting journey and experience. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES The position will include the responsibilities below:
- Responsible for the constant development of client relationships
- Focus on sales, capturing market share, and sales tracking and achieve territory sales quota
- Continuous evaluation of market trends and gathering competitive information that affects the growth of sales and profitability for the region and future product potential
- Be the voice and vision for our client in the market
- Responsible for daily maintenance of the company’s database management program for the territory
- Take on special projects as assigned
- Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and proof of concept demos with the appropriate technical service department
- Sells to end users in coordination and determines based on customer preference direct fulfillment or with partners
- Leads sales presentations with customers and channel partners; conducts business reviews with them monthly using company provided reports and tools
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Track sales pipeline and bookings against quota and other metrics
- Leverage strategic relationships and business partnerships to drive revenue
- Represent our client at regional trade shows
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
- Completed (technical) studies and proven experience in the Broadcast, Live Production or AV industries
- Sufficient experience in a sales or Pre-sales role
- Relevant, proven “system” sales experience for manufacturing and system integration is a plus
- Must have an understanding of the nature and demands of Broadcast, Entertainment, and all of our clients markets.
- Working knowledge of the our clients Portfolio such as MediorNet, Artist and Live Production
- Experience with Video and Audio over IP standards including SMPTE 2110
- Proven experience in working with upscale companies, venues, clients, and channel partners in the assigned territory
- Proficient presentation and communication skills, verbal and written, are mandatory
- Effectively communicate and disseminate information to sales management, marketing department, sales operations, and technical services in a timely and respectful manner
- Appreciates the importance and use of database management programs such as Sales Force
- Immediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or a similar sales management package
