Manufacturing Engineer

Full-time, Monday to Friday with a half day Friday finish.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be integral to overseeing the complete Manufacturing Life Cycle. In this position, you will work closely with Design Engineers and Production teams to optimise manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth transitions from design to production. The Manufacturing Engineer will focus on setting up, modifying, and optimising processes while improving efficiency and supporting product outsourcing. Collaborating with engineers during the design phase to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

* Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and outsourcing.

* Supporting outsourcing efforts with suppliers and ensuring quality standards.

* Developing training plans for production and apprentices.

* Participating in offsite testing or builds as required.

To succeed as a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll need:

* A degree in engineering (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Electrical, or Control Systems) or Chartered Engineer status.

* Proven experience in process improvements and design for manufacture.

* The ability to create comprehensive SOPs across engineering disciplines.

* A deep understanding of engineering principles and production processes.
