Position: PMLD Lecturer Location: Sutton SEN College, Sutton Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday - Thursday About the college: They are a renowned institution committed to providing outstanding education and support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities as a PMLD Lecturer: Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to students with PMLD, ensuring each individual's learning needs are met. Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Utilise a range of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to support student learning and communication. Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other external agencies. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, promoting independence and social interaction. Requirements as a PMLD Lecturer: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS). Proven experience working with students with PMLD, preferably within a SEN educational setting. Strong understanding of the specific challenges and needs associated with PMLD.
