AUDIOLOGIST - Band 5
The Audiology Department at the James Paget University Hospital offers a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative service for both adults and children. We provide a Hearing Therapy service, balance service, support to ENT and hospital based NHSP. We are an established training site for undergraduate students and encourage continuing professional development. We also participate in National research programs. Our department offers excellent facilities and a positive working environment.
Your duties will be mainly adult diagnostic and rehabilitation and support for ENT which will include some Paediatric testing. You will also be expected to contribute the training of students and junior staff. You will hold a BSc in Audiology or nationally recognised qualification in Audiology. This post would be suitable for newly qualified Audiologists as full support will be given.

BSc in Audiology or equivalent
Appropriate in service training in Audiology
Knowledge/involvement of working within an NHS audiology department
Evidence of additional audiological training/CPD portfolio
