To complete clinical postural care assessments focusing on seating in care homes
Postural Care Assessment focusing on Seating for residents in care homes
Development of referral process for care homes into Accora Postural Care assessment including:
Liaise with care home staff to obtain essential information regarding residents needs and medical condition.
Carry out seating assessments which may be basic or complex of residents within a care home environment.
Work with care home staff to identify seating needs and solutions using the Configura range at time of assessment.
Liaising with clinical team to ensure appropriate assessment/product selection/report writing
Documentation / postural care assessment outcome reports
Provide brief summary of assessment for each resident within care home records on site.
Use Accora online tool to raise quotation.
Collate report and quotation, send through to identified care home funder.

Issue equipment to resident of care home / review seating provided for residents independently or with product specialist.
Product training including bed and chair training to home managers and staff
Online training
Face to face training

Working closely with the marketing and sales team to provide a clinical perspective on all marketing and sales documents and contribute to the content marketing
Working autonomously in a flexible manner; Attending the office for meetings and product evaluations as required.
Respond to all requests for seating assessment visits, these may be made via email or telephone discussion, within 24 hrs
~ Conduct a telephone assessment prior to any assessment visit, within 24 hrs
~ Includes travelling to assessments around the UK, primarily in London, Home counties and West Midlands
Ability to collect equipment either from Accora’s office in Cambridgeshire or warehouse in Dartford, Kent
Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training activities
Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job, whether that be on-the-job training, in-house training or external training courses
Undertake health and safety duties commensurate with the post and as detailed in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy
Act as an ambassador of the Company and promote the company brand, always displaying a positive image to customers and members of the public

Adhere to relevant quality and regulatory requirements at all times
Qualifications and training
Knowledge and understanding of postural care / 24 hour posture management
Experience in postural care assessment including complex seating assessments and provision.
Willing to travel nationwide and from time to time, stay overnight
Experience of statutory service provision of postural care interventions
Effective and confident telephone skills, with an excellent level of English
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy office environment and travelling
Participate in team development projects
Maintain continuous professional development as a practicing Occupational Therapist, including participation in relevant external training and education.
To comply with the Health Care Professionals Council & Royal College of Occupational Therapy’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and national and local procedures.
To contribute to the development of Occupational Therapy Practice and disseminate research outcomes.
To develop clinical, managerial and teaching skills via continuous professional development (CPD), including maintaining an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
To respect the individual values, cultural and religious diversity of clients and contribute to the provision of services sensitive to these needs.
To review and reflect on own practice and performance through effective use of professional and operational supervision and appraisal.
Attention to detail, with good planning and organisational skills
Full driving licence
