Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Broadcast Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting the company's migration from legacy video technologies to IP networks. Additionally, experience with broadcasting cloud technologies such as Nimbra, Techex Cloud, and AWS is highly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for migrating from legacy video technologies to IP networks.
  • Lead the deployment and configuration of broadcasting cloud technologies, including Nimbra, Techex Cloud, and AWS, to enhance our broadcast infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams during the migration process, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of broadcasting systems to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for their adoption to improve operational efficiency and performance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on broadcasting technologies, providing training and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive years of experience in broadcast engineering, with a focus on IP networks and cloud technologies.
  • Proven experience in migrating broadcast systems from legacy technologies to IP networks.
  • Strong proficiency in broadcasting cloud technologies, including Nimbra, Techex Cloud, and AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of broadcast infrastructure, video encoding, decoding, and transport protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
