Your New role

Here at National Highways we have an exciting opportunity for 3 Scheme Coordinator’s to support the delivery of schemes, by booking roadspace, ensuring all relevant H&S, scheme completion documentation and data capture are effectively planned, coordinated, stored and controlled.

This role will be based from our Maidstone or Basingstoke office.

What you’ll be leading on

  • Scheme scheduling and delivery related activities and meetings
  • Supporting the development of H&S files for schemes through timely and accurate collation of data
  • Recommend approaches for improving own area of work
  • Preparation of scheme completion documentation and ensure timely circulation to relevant stakeholders
  • To support the completion of required construction scheme documentation and data collation and /or storage in relevant database(s) and systems
  • Ensuring the health and safety needs and wellbeing of customers and employees are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of activities.

  • Understanding of construction and maintenance activities
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Good personal impact and the ability to inspire confidence and positive action
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to execute tasks independently, yet work collaboratively within a team and respond to management guidance & support
