An exciting position for an experienced Inventory and production coordinator has arisen with our long-established manufacturing client based in Sittingbourne. Our client has been established for over fifty years and they operate in both UK and Europe. They have grown from strength to strength and due to business demands are now recruiting for an experienced procurement adminsitrator to join them at their Sittingbourne office.

Hours: 37.5 Hrs per week ( Monday - Friday office hours)

Salary: Competitive

Overview of the role :

To plan, manage, and monitor, the inventory and processing of a range of projects for multiple customers in conjunction with the project Team and Account Manager. This role is a production-focused role, centred on managing vendors across the globe and the associated live production. including QC plan, inbound shipping, and budget control.

The Role:

  • To manage and monitor all stock requirements ensuring that the stock is available for customer call-off, identify any issues that would result in shortages, and preparing action plans to resolve
  • To prepare proposals for sending to the customer for commitment to produce inventory
  • To plan, monitor, and manage customer orders and ensure stock is available for each order.
  • To create production orders on the system and schedule assembly and production as needed for the projects
  • To set up Part Nuber, Bills of Materials associated with sub-entries for parts in the company system
  • Liaising with customers, warehouse, and suppliers regarding inbound deliveries
  • To prepare and finalise customer orders
  • To assist in the answering of the incoming calls received by the department.
  • General customer services/ Account management duties and duties

Suitable Candidate .

The suitable candidate will require the following skills:

  • Previous inventory and production coordinator experience
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good time management
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Team player, with strong communication skills
  • Previous Customer Service experience
  • Are you happy to travel on occasion to clients within the UK and abroad?
  • Previous experience dealing with paperwork for import/exports
