Food Technician
37 hours per week Term Time only plus 2 days
* Immediate start available

The appointed Food Technician will be a dynamic, highly motivated technician who is passionate about food and nutrition, able to provide a support service to the Technology Department including preparation of materials, setting up equipment for practical classes and assisting in practical lessons.

General food education and experience in a similar role
* GCSE English and Maths A-C or equivalent
* Food hygiene/health and safety certification
* First aid qualification or willingness to undertake training

Prepare and maintain resources for food technology practical lessons, adhering to health and safety standards and class requirements
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of food preparation and storage areas, as well as classroom spaces
* Support teachers during practical lessons, including preparing ingredients and equipment as directed and providing student feedback
