**On shift Trainer**

**Monday - Friday**

**Early Shift 06.00 - 14.00**

**Overview of the role**

**You must have a good level of English and Maths to be considered. You must be at least 18 years of age.**

**Purpose of the Job**
**To train staff to follow and correctly use job packs, SOPs and Work Instructions**
To follow up on training by observing staff to verify compliance and competency
**To support and coach staff if found to not be compliant or competent**
To be a procedure and behaviour ambassador for the shift
**To act in a safe and responsible manner**
To report any accidents or near misses immediately
**To report any damage immediately**
To do any reasonable request providing trained to do so.
**Communicate and cooperate with the team, other functions and across shifts**

**To ensure that food products are produced safely and legally**
Results Areas
All staff on the lines are trained to do the tasks that they do
**All staff are competent and confident in the tasks that they do**
The lines meet the expected Performance (OEE) levels
**The lines achieve the expected Quality standards**
The lines operate in a Safe manner and actively works to reduce the risk of injury
**The lines achieve its Key Performance Indicators**
Changeovers are carried out in the allocated time
**Waste meets the expected levels.**
Skills gaps are identified and resolved before they become a problem
**Job packs, SOPs and Work Instructions are followed.**
Non conformances are reported to the Shift Manager and logged
**Training and competence observation is planned in advance**

Process and equipment knowledge of the lines
**Health and safety awareness**
Understanding of product safety principles e.g. HACCP
**Verbal and written communication skills**
Internal training: Allergens, Audits, CAYG, Basic Problem Solving, Communication, Teamwork
