The role of Group Financial Accountant will support the main division of the business with some indirect exposure across the wider subsidiaries. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the role will predominantly include the full production of consolidated statutory accounts and forecasts as well as developing current reporting processes. Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Production of consolidated statutory accounts for all group entities and subsidiaries including full IFRS annual reports
  • Responsibility for financial accounting and input to the monthly management reporting
  • Consolidation of monthly forecasts across all business entities
  • Responsibility for Group reporting across all business entities
  • Reconciliation of management reporting information – including managing process improvements to facilitate statutory adjustments (IFRS 15 / IFRS 16 etc)
  • Ownership of Financial modelling to assist the strategic plans for corporate entities
  • Preparation of goods and materials for audit review and the preparation of tax returns
  • Supporting with the design and implementation of system modifications
Person Specification:
  • Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Experience of Financial Reporting and application of IFRS Accounting Standards
