SENIOR DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER ROLE PROFILE

THE ROLE

Digital Marketing is set to fuel the future growth of Hush and we are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Marketer to accelerate Hush’s acquisition strategy and build upon the success of the recent rebrand. The role will report into the Head of Digital Marketing, manage multi-million-pound budgets and encompass all paid channels with the support of 1 direct report. With a high level of energy, this role will need to balance hands-on day-to-day, tactical tasks with an in-house marketing team and driving the longer-term strategic priorities.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Paid Channel KPIs, budgets and forecasts (including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, Display and YouTube).
  • Deliver a Paid Channel strategy which supports business goals of increasing volume and quality of new customers, setting Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC) /Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) targets and phasing budgets to achieve the strategy.
  • Work with CRM team to acquire high potential customers to maximise CAC:Lifetime Value (LTV) ratio.
  • Develop robust reporting methods for digital channels, building channel reports in DOMO (data visualisation tool) using GA4 data to facilitate quick response to trade questions.
  • Develop the Hush approach to attribution that enables the business to optimise it’s channel investments.
  • Own new customer and UK channel forecasting; co-ordinating the respective channel owners. Align this forecast with the Ecom forecast making adjustments and enhancements based on conversion learnings.
  • Align with Brand Marketing and CRM teams to run multichannel awareness campaigns and present data driven insights which will support future investment and content.
  • Manage 1 direct report and 3 agencies – ensuring digital channels are sufficiently resourced and prioritised based on business need.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team to produce channel specific content based on industry best practice, channel objectives and previous campaign learnings; ensuring that there is a feedback loop with the Creative team to make creative optimisations and investments in upper funnel activity.
  • Manage the relationship with Google and Facebook ensuring Hush is supported with campaign measurement and industry leading campaign tactics.
  • Regularly undertake conversion and brand lift studies to understand the wider impact and longer term health of our channel investments.
  • Scale our international business: supporting expansion of our paid channels to deliver growth plans.
  • Own the digital testing plan: ensuring the test & learn plan to continue to evolve our channels.
  • Work with Meta, TikTok and Google to identify beta programme opportunities.
  • Responsible for media compliance and media-related legislation.
  • Future-proof Hush digital marketing performance through channel expansion, tech opportunities and data tracking.

THE PERSON

  • 5+ years of experience working in paid advertising.
  • A strategic mindset with experience in developing new and effective digital acquisitions levers concept to execution.
  • Experience in building forecasting models, budget management and setting CAC/CPA targets and using these targets to flex budgets based on acquisition performance.
  • A strong appreciation for and experience of the practical application of attribution and marketing mix modelling.
  • Excellent communication skills – Paid Media is a priority area for senior stakeholders in the business, so it is important you’re able to effectively communicate to those without in-channel expertise.
  • Experience with technical projects relating to tracking and platform integration.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Google Analytics (GA360/GA4), Meta Platforms, Google Tech Stack and AWIN platform.
  • Highly numerate and analytical but with bags of creative flair – you should have a great eye for design and the ability to produce engaging ads.
  • Ability to articulate and translate data and reporting requirements across multiple systems.
  • In depth understanding of the wider marketing functions such as Ecom, Brand, Creative & Editorial.
  • A passion for both Paid Media Advertising and the Hush brand, striking a fine balance between marketing best practice and our unique brand positioning.
  • An exceptional work ethic - it is important to not only have excellent knowledge of Paid Media but also be able to translate this into positive results for the business.
