Your Role as Deputy Manager: As a Deputy Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the children and young people in our care thrive. You'll work alongside a Registered Manager and a dedicated team to create a safe and loving home environment, delivering high-quality care that fosters recovery, growth, and lasting change. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire your team, providing therapeutic care tailored to each child’s individual needs.
  • Strategically plan and manage day-to-day operations within the home.
  • Act as a positive role model for both staff and children, building relationships that foster trust and growth.
  • Oversee supervision, staff training, and ensure high-quality childcare practices.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to deliver the best possible outcomes for each child.
Essential
  • Experience in a residential children’s home environment
  • NVQ Level 3 in caring for children and young people / children’s residential workforce
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
  • Strong leadership with a hands-on approach and a proactive attitude
  • Experience managing budgets and rotas
  • A valid driving license
  • Flexibility to work shifts and sleep-ins
