Salary: Up to £60,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Providing support data for the sourcing strategies being pursued, and identifying risks, issues, and liabilities within these strategies
Producing and managing procurement plans to capture stakeholder requirements, whilst ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory process requirements
Supplying commercial and supply chain support to the delivery programmes, along with leading the sourcing and contracting procurement process, including tender pack development, evaluation, and award
Leading negotiations with suppliers, including commercial aspects, to ensure the best outcome for the business
Ensuring that lifecycle costing principles are fully considered pre- ITT including input to Make v Buy process and contractor down selection, and reporting on cost savings and cost avoidances
Supporting the development of supply chain strategies and leading implementation of plans
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Experience of working in supply chain within the construction industry
Detailed knowledge of JCT and NEC Construction contracts
An understanding of business and procurement approaches, techniques, processes, policy, and strategy
Experience of contract and supplier performance management
Desirable:
Client side experience
MCIPS
MRICS qualified or similar, or working towards
Experience in public sector/regulated environments
