What you'll be doing:

The primary purpose of the role is to lead strategic workforce planning for the Group, facilitating activity working closely with the embedded SWP leads. The role will have a primary focus on long-range and medium-range workforce planning activity and maturity including the provision of workforce analytics and insights/trend reporting as well as the development, implementation and measurement of effective workforce strategies.

The following are the key responsibilities:

  • Own the strategic planning guidance, policy and processes at a Group-level, collaborating and providing coaching across the business to develop, implement and improve an enterprise-wide approach
  • Lead the annual workforce planning cycles, the consolidation of enterprise-wide risks and action plans and partner across the wider HR Function to identify and plan effective people strategies
  • Support the identification, implementation and embedding of effective workforce planning tools
  • Partner with People Insights and Analytics to develop enterprise-wide workforce insights and trends in order to support demand and supply workforce forecasting/scenario modelling
  • Act as integrator of appropriate workforce strategies and their implementation for business planning and reporting purposes at Group level

Your skills and experiences:

  • Extensive experience in strategic workforce planning, encompassing both data/methodology and the development of long-range strategic workforce plans
  • Proven track record of working in medium to large complex corporate environments, driving change initiatives
  • Strong program management capabilities
  • Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail to manage and synthesise complex data
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel
