Purpose:

To lead the Group's PMO (Project Management Office) providing support, oversight and governance of the Group's end to end project management cycle to ensure on time successful delivery, escalation of risk and adherence to project and activity stage gates. Owns and manages the Group's project portfolio and pipeline including sizing, prioritisation, resource & capacity management, strategic alignment and monitoring of KPIs. Leads the Group's Project

Management team and the delivery a small portfolio of projects as needed.

Principal Accountabilities:

Participate in the development of the Group's project management framework and approach.

Owns the adherence to and delivery of project management activity to the agreed framework

and approach

Responsible for the oversight and delivery of all PMO (Project Management Office) activity,

aligned to the Group's project management framework:

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a business, project management or related field.
  • A recognised project management or change management qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrable experience as a PMO Lead or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies and best practice including PMO operating requirements
  • Proven experience in successful delivery of projects on time and achieving project deliverables (time, cost and quality)
  • Experience in managing complex project portfolios including sizing, prioritisation, resource and capacity management.
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • People management and team leadership experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying and managing interdependencies between projects
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining a positive teamworking environment
