Accounts Assistant - Temp - Perm - Full time - Monday - Friday ***
Premier Recruitment are working with our client based in tamworth who are looking to hire a Accountant Assistant on a temp - perm basis
The role is office based Monday - Friday - 3 months temp - perm contract.
Accounts Assistant Role
The role of Accounts Assistant is to provide effective support to the finance team, by completing daily, weekly and monthly reports, processing purchase invoices, administering the company T&A system and supporting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
Accounts Assistant Duties
* Support the production of the monthly management accounts by processing journals, running reports and pulling the information into the accounts pack for review by the Financial Controller
* Maintain the company T&A system, ensuring all new starters are set up on the system and all overtime and absences are recorded and authorised by the relevant managers
* Update monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Financial Controller
* Complete weekly bank reconciliations
* Support the implementation of new ERP system
* Process monthly company credit card statement
* Update and maintain the Fixed Asset Register including additions, disposals, depreciation and mould recovery
* Assisting with Year End Accounts and external audit
* To provide occasional holiday cover for Credit Control and Purchase Ledger and complete other ad-hoc activities for the wider Finance Department, if required
Accounts Assistant Requirements
* Computer literate, including a high proficiency in Excel
