An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Wincanton as a Transport Administrato r on our shared user Derby site. The vacancy has become available with the goal of supporting Group Transport Suppliers to understand the various processes and ensure they are paid correctly for the work they complete.

Hours: 40 Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

Salary: £22,000 per annum

Conditions: Onsite role, immediate start required 

Typical Outputs:

  • System Administration Tasks
  • Accountable for the returns process
  • Producing paperwork
  • Recording and notifying demurrage occurrences
  • Managing an email inbox
  • Debriefing- Managing deadlines.
  • Supporting supplier invoice team
  • Contact with suppliers via telephone and email. 

Experience, Skills and attributes:

  • A high degree of computer literacy and knowledge of excel is essential. 
  • Excellent Organizational Skills 
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Must be punctual, reliable and diligent.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Good communication- both verbal and written 
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to follow processes 
  • Dynamic individual who is willing to learn 
  • Confident and Empathetic person willing to adapt.
