Our client are an established finance consultancy, who are searching for an dedicated and hardworking Accounts Assistant to support the finance department with administration duties.

JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant
JOB TYPE: Temp to Perm
HOURS: 09:00am - 17:0pm
SALARY: £14 per hour - £17per hour
LOCATION: Central London
CULTURE : Busy, supportive team culture, collaborative, welcoming, friendly

Duties:


  • Raise all PO's for all departments within the organisation, agreeing to budget line and ensuring all coding is correctly allocated to each PO
  • Process all supplier invoices/credit notes on a timely basis
  • Process all expenses for staff, ensuring adherence to company expense policies
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Prepare weekly payment runs via the online banking platform.
  • Bank Reconciliations for all entities
  • Review, analyse and close at month end the AP control account.
  • Support the procurement process for the organisation
  • Journal preparation for month end - e.g. prepayments, depreciation etc
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Skills:


  • Demonstrable accounts payable experience required
  • Experience of using Sage desired
  • Strong system knowledge
  • Strong excel and communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop with a proactive attitude
