Job Title: Children's Home Team Leader
Limetree Recruitment are excited to

for a candidate to work as a Childrens Home Team Leader for a large Children's home provider.
Overview:
As a Children's Home Team Leader, you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a children's home or residential care facility. You will lead a team of dedicated staff to ensure that children under your care receive the highest standards of support, care, and guidance.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Provide strong leadership and guidance to a team of residential care workers and support staff.
Supervision and Training:
Oversee staff schedules, conduct regular team meetings, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and performance.
Child Care Planning:
Collaborate with social workers, counselors, and other professionals to develop and implement individual care plans for each child.
Quality of Care:
Monitor and maintain high standards of care and support for children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
Behavioural Management:
Implement behavioural management strategies and interventions to support positive behaviour and development.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing child welfare and residential care facilities.
Communication:
Maintain effective communication with external agencies, families, and stakeholders involved in the children's care.
Crisis Management:
Respond calmly and effectively to crisis situations and emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to children's care plans, incidents, and progress.
Qualifications for Team Leader of Children's Home:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience working in a residential care setting with children and young people.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and safeguarding practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Compassionate, patient, and resilient with a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children.
Additional Requirements:
Clear criminal background check.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (if applicable).
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
First aid and CPR certification (desirable).
