Annual Leave: 35 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
The Programme Leader, Specialist Community Nursing is to lead on the strategic development and operational delivery of our well-established post-registration delivery of community children’s nursing, district nursing and general practice nursing. Your teaching approach should be flexible, student-focused, and research informed, and you should possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will have current knowledge of NMC requirements for specialist community nursing. You will have an awareness of the requirements for Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education and Ofsted. You must have live registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a nurse or midwife and you should hold current recordable qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Specialist Community Nurse. You will hold a master’s degree or a Level 7 qualification such as a PgDip. Our commitment to the University’s Safeguarding Policy, requires that the recruitment of staff in this area, will need to undertake the minimum of a Basic DBS Check. DBS Checks may require renewal in line with policy.
