The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving financial strategy, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Financial Management:

- Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.

2.⁠ ⁠Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with executive management to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals.

- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance and business growth.

3.⁠ ⁠Risk Management:

- Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring robust internal controls are in place.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

4.⁠ ⁠Performance Monitoring:

- Monitor financial performance, analyze financial data, and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

- Establish benchmarks and KPIs to assess financial health and progress.

5.⁠ ⁠Capital Management:

- Manage capital allocation and investment strategies.

- Optimize the capital structure and develop funding strategies, including equity, debt, and other financial instruments.

6.Compliance

- ⁠Ensure the firm achieves continued compliance with the FCA’s safeguarding regime, including ensuring daily reconciliation is completed on relevant client money accounts, handling/escalating breaches as appropriate.

-Ensure the firm meets its regulatory capital requirements at all times

7.⁠ ⁠Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Recruit, train, and develop finance professionals to ensure a strong financial team.

Qualifications:

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.

•⁠ ⁠At least 10 years of experience in senior financial management roles, preferably within the EMI or fintech industry.

•⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards relevant to payment and electronic money service sector

•⁠ ⁠Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and financial analysis.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
