Computer Aided Design Designer

Globe 24-7 in partnership with an international consulting firm are working together to source an experienced talent for their operations in London.
Technical Drawing and Design: Utilize Civil 3D and other relevant CAD software to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for earthworks and tailings management projects.
# Site Modeling: Develop 3D models to represent and analyze earthworks, including site grading, drainage, and containment systems.
# Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, geologists, and environmental specialists to ensure that drawings align with project objectives and adhere to regulatory standards.
# Quality Assurance: Review and verify the precision, completeness, and compliance of drawings with project specifications and industry regulations.
# Update drawings and models as required in response to design changes, feedback, and project updates.
# Document Management: Organize and maintain an organized library of CAD files, project documentation, and records related to earthworks and tailings projects.
# Provide technical support to project teams, troubleshoot CAD software issues, and assist in addressing design-related challenges.
# Project Delivery: Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and deliver finalized drawings and models that meet project requirements.
A degree or diploma in drafting, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred. CAD Proficiency: Expertise in using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD software relevant to earthworks and tailings management projects.
# A solid understanding of tailings management practices, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in tailings containment and disposal.
# Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with civil engineering principles, including site grading, drainage, and earthworks design.
# Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within project teams and convey technical information clearly.
# Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
