Having doubled its turnover, and investing in growing its teams, this is an exciting time to join the business as a Service & Support Operations Lead. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and develop the service and support team. You will work closely with engineers, customers and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery. There will be regular travel to other sites, including 1 day per week in Doncaster. You will be responsible for managing a small team and ensuring efficient, high-quality service to their clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a commitment to customer service.

Lead and manage a team of Service Coordinators across multiple sites, including performance reviews, training, and development.
Collaborate with the Service & Support Manager to improve departmental efficiency.
Foster strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to develop business within a 2-hour radius.
Handle customer complaints and oversee the escalation process to ensure swift resolution.
Monitor service performance metrics and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.
Support the Service Coordinators with day-to-day operations, such as proposals, invoicing, and purchasing.
Assist with service and contractor contract renewals, as well as engineer time bookings and KPI tracking.
Perform general administrative duties related to service operations, fleet management, and health & safety documentation. Experience in a lead or supervisory role within a service or support environment.
Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience in the food, beverage, dairy, or related industries is a plus but not essential. You will be fully supported as you integrate into your new team, and enjoy benefits including:
