Location: New Barn School, Newbury, Berkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only
If you really want to make your mark in a rapidly growing business that is committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people, we have the role for you We’re looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join and lead our team at New Barn School. 
To provide a high quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. To work with the Head Teacher, leadership team and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school.
To comply with good safeguarding procedures and principles as detailed by the local safeguarding board. 
~ To act as overall curriculum coordinator and manager across the school
~To work as a key member of the multi disciplinary team which encompasses education, residential care and the clinical team 
~ To ensure that appropriate standards are maintained, especially in relation to education, care and clinical programmes for students, in accordance with company policies. 
~ To working collaboratively with the Head Teacher and the leadership team to secure high standards in all aspects of the life of the school 
~ To adhere to the Special Education Needs Code of Practice and other relevant legislation 
~ To carry out teaching duties as agreed with the Head Teacher 
~ To work with the Headteacher and leadership team to ensure that all staff follow the school’s policy for Planning, Assessment, Recording and Reporting.
