As Event Potter, you will bring your passion and creativity to our pottery in Crawfordsburn.

You will work with our small team to deliver great events while providing excellent support and training to our participants.

Location: Loaf Pottery, 24 Main Street, Crawfordsburn Reports to: Pottery Manager Hours: Ad hoc hours
- varied to include evenings and weekends Hourly rate: £12.70 per hour Mission: Supporting people with learning difficulties and autism into jobs with a future.

Main Responsibilities: Support the Pottery Manager to create a calendar of events that support our business objectives by demonstrating your passion for pottery and events.

Inspire and engage our participants to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.

Quality is your driver; support us in putting Loaf Pottery on the map and create a destination for events and activities.

Ensure that health and safety procedures are implemented and followed.

Work collaboratively with the whole Loaf Pottery team to help grow the artistic network and increase community engagement.

Complete all necessary training in line with your role requirements
- your development is as important to us as it is to you.

Personnel Specification: Essential: Able to be flexible and adaptable as hours of work may include evenings and weekends as necessary.

A qualification at degree level in an arts discipline or substantial relevant experience working as a potter.

The candidate will be required to demonstrate experience in: An in-depth knowledge of all pottery procedures.

Teaching classes to meet the needs of various client groups.

Building and maintaining networks in the arts sector.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good teamwork skills.

Desirable Criteria: Experience of teaching participants with disabilities, learning difficulties, and autism.
