A vibrant and inclusive north Birmingham Primary school who are committed to providing high-quality education to all students are seeking a SEND TA to work in a Year 4 class. The school take pride in offering a supportive and enriching learning environment for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). They are now looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of their students.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with SEND, ensuring they receive the tailored assistance they require to succeed in their learning journey. Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with SEND, including those with Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning disabilities.

* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other tailored learning strategies.

* Help to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to adapt resources and materials to meet the needs of individual students.

* A passion for working with children with special educational needs.

* Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.

* Understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities, and how to support students effectively.

* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent, is preferred but not essential.
