Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing warehouse operations within a fast-paced logistics import/export environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to optimise processes to ensure the efficient flow of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse efficiency and minimise costs.
- Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations and procedures.
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments, including logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory records and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during warehouse operations.
