What your role is

ABOUT THE JOB

We're searching for a dynamic leader who is, creative, driven and collaborative, to lead development of partnerships and licensing for General Mills brands in key markets across the world. You will be responsible for creating ideas and making them a reality by partnering, negotiating, and overseeing relationships with partners across the Entertainment, Music, Fashion, Sports, Gaming and Food industries. You will work hand in hand with teams in key markets to translate business strategies into creative ideas & products.

In this role, you will work closely with Haagen Dazs, Nature Valley, Old El Paso(and more) to unlock ideas - whether driving buzz through a promotional partnership or looking at licensing as a new way to test innovation in key categories, you will be the expert in partnerships and licensing who ensures we're achieving the brand's goals and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Create ideas that drive brand relevance by seizing cultural moments to deliver value and new offerings to growth audiences and super fans
  • Develop strategies and identify partners based on shared purpose or a specific business objective
  • Develop and lead brand pitches to external partners, crafting a compelling story and vision behind partnerships and licensing ideas
  • Lead partnerships and licensing approach, contract negotiation and execution, and reporting for Haagen Dazs, OEP and Nature Valley
  • Lead with expertise on what's currently happening in culture, with an eye toward emerging trends
  • Serve as the day to day point for relationship building and ongoing management for Intl partnerships
  • Support the work necessary for flawless execution
What you will bring to the team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience with either marketing communication, partnerships, or licensing, working with multiple marketing communication touchpoints
  • Clear understanding and ability to translate strategy into tactical executions
  • Demonstrated ability to create and sell in holistic ideas tied to brand strategy
  • Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels of an organization
  • Collaborative with ability to build strong working relationships and influence across teams
  • Ability to be flexible and navigate ambiguity with actionable items
  • Ability to apply precision and focus to flawless execution
  • Ability to lead through others, and influence change
