Data Protection Executive (6 MONTHS FTC) Reporting to: Data Protection Manager
Based: Hybrid/ East Croydon

The Data Protection Executive will be supporting the development and enforcement of data protection policies, providing assistance with compliance efforts, handling data subject requests, and contributing to incident response and risk mitigation activities. The Data Protection Executive plays a vital role in helping the organization maintain trust with stakeholders and protect the privacy rights of individuals.
As a Data Protection Executive you will be:
•Managing requests for CCTV, including those from third parties such as law enforcement.
•Gathering information and ensuring timely responses in accordance with data protection regulations.
•Assisting in the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines, under the guidance of senior staff.
•Helping to maintain records of data processing activities, compliance efforts, and data protection incidents, and assisting with report preparation.
•Helping to maintain records of data processing activities,
•Responding to data breaches or incidents, including assisting in investigations and documentation.
Proven experience in data protection, ideally with a focus on GDPR compliance.
·Strong understanding of data protection principles and legislation.
·Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
·Experience with data protection tools and technologies (e.g., data masking, encryption, tokenization).
