The role
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Lead Finance Business Partner and working alongside other Finance Business Partners, you will be responsible for a portfolio of contracts providing key financial support, as well as working closely with the Operational team to improve processes and provide robust reporting to enable them to make key decisions.
Day-to-day, you’ll build strong, supportive relationships with the project managers to ensure robust reporting of contract financials, as well as:
Complete forecasting requirements on-time and to the highest standard.
Hold monthly reviews with the Operational team to provide details of performance and areas questioning / challenging where necessary.
Provide key financial support to internal and external audits, ensuring compliance is maintained at all times.
Help to review, improve and drive processes forward, working closely with the Operational team.
This role is full time and is a hybrid role with Tuesdays based in Ashton House 1 day per week. Or for longer periods as project demands or business requests.
Essential experience of the Finance Business Partner:
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office – in particular, Excel modelling skills.
Experience in ERP Business Systems
Manipulating data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
High commercial acumen having spent time in a business facing role.
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or working towards your qualification however, just as important is the ability to work across functions and articulate financial concepts within a fast-moving contract accounting environment.
Qualifications for the Finance Business Partner:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
