Account manager for a logistics company who cover road freight, this role is in Newcastle, after your training period hybrid is available. They offer a great bonus structure. 5k plus bonus. The ote including bonus in year one is £44-£53k, year two is £57-64k and year three is £62-69k. This role is a mon-fri 9am to 530pm, with hybrid 2-3 days a week after the 1st 6 months training period.
As a account manager you will develop the road freight business within your accounts. You will work within the North East patch, manage a range of accounts and look at increasing the value of the accounts and the repeat business of the freight. This company transports freight in and out of the UK with various routes. You will Source sales leads using the Company's in-house CMS or other sources of information, you will Make telesales calls (outbound) to potential clients to profile and qualifying the prospect, you will also Visit potential customers and prepare quotations for presentation to the customer. This role will include all the normal Account Manager duties.
We are looking for a sales focused account manager, you will also be Strong, confident, and resilient personality. You will Ideally come from a sales or road freight background, but this is not essential. To get the OTE's above, you will be Keen to develop and excel within a career in sales. you will also need a driving license, as you will visit clients.
